Beautiful and controversial songstress, Lana Del Rey's label Interscope, has provided me with an album preview of what will debut for purchase everywhere digitally and in-stores, of her new album Born To Die, debuting on January 31st. Pre-order your copy HERE.

With the deluxe version purchase, fans receive three extra songs, including a Joy Orbison remix of her immensely popular song, that set her on the map, with 'Video Games'.

Despite the billowing, I admire Lana and her music; her voice is enticing, seductive and playful. These whisper through a bit like an illusion, and she displays them best on tracks such as "Off to the Races," "Diet Mountain Dew," "National Anthem". Her voice has a weary display on melancholy tracks with "Video Games," "Dark Paradise," "Carmen" and "Million Dollar Man".

Del Rey writes and sings her life experiences with relationships, people that have mistreated her, and she has no qualms with expressing how she feels; one can feel the tug and war of the highs and lows life has to offer for any and everyone in general, and Lana makes them fun and engaging, evoking sadness when she needs and wants to, then mixes elements of an oozing voice that resonates with you, well after the facade of a pretty face, and the controversy. So, I say to those that have pre-judged Lana based on critics' responses and her live performances, listen thoroughly to Born To Die, and then decide for yourself. Oh, and I can see many women (and some men) fist-pumping and tearing up the dance floor with her anthematic, "Lolita," it's catchy, provocative, and honest. I strongly suggest purchasing the deluxe edition, and the track listing is listed below for both standard and deluxe.
